Earn/Save Money

Why Promotional Codes Get Me Excited

The only thing better than finding a great sale is shopping online. You can find almost everything online for less, and when you factor in the ability to save even more money with promotional codes, I get even more excited (because I obviously have issues).

The crazy thing to me is that most people ignore the little “promo code” option on the checkout page. I suppose the reaction is to think, “Oh, I don’t have one of those”, and just pay full price. Ya those days are over…Promo Codes = free money. EVERY time you see the option to enter a promo code, you take it. Here’s the strategy I recently used on a flower delivery order:

 1. See Promo Code Option

2. Get Really excited that you’re about to save money

3. Open a new window in your browser and search “Promo Code 1800flowers”

4. Search the many sites provided like www.promocode.com to find the best one

5. Attempt to use promo code. If it doesn’t work, keep trying different codes until you find one that does

6. Save 15% on my order, just like that.

It’s really that easy. This is the kind of stuff frugal people like me live for. I even used a promo code to buy the domain name frugalmodel.com from godaddy. I saved $8. It was the highlight of my day.
